Mandatory RT-PCR tests for arrivals from China, govt issues fresh advisory as global Covid cases spike

The government on Saturday announced that RT-PCR tests will be mandatory for international passengers coming from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand as Covid cases continue to surge worldwide. The development comes a day after the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with state ministers to discuss the current Covid situation and ensure that the country is ready to check the spread of the virus.
