PM Modi rules out nationwide lockdown, calls for 'Vaccine Utsav' from April 11-14

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a virtual meeting with chief ministers to discuss the coronavirus pandemic situation and the ongoing vaccination drive. Addressing the meeting on Covid-19 with chief ministers, PM Modi said, "India has crossed peak of the first wave, and this time, the growth rate of cases is higher."

PM Modi ruled out nationwide lockdown but endorsed night curfew to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
