Maharashtra govt imposes fresh curbs amid rising COVID-19 cases

The Maharashtra government on Sunday announced a slew of new restrictions, including a weekend lockdown and a night curfew in the state, amid an unprecedented surge in coronavirus cases.

Night curfew will be imposed in the state from 8 pm to 7 am from Monday. The state will also go for a complete weekend lockdown from 8 pm on Friday to 7 am on Monday.
