It's a very welcome move: Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw on WHO's nod for Covaxin

Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has termed Covaxin's approval by WHO for emergency use a very welcome move.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw said, "It's long overdue and a big relief that the approval has finally come through. We needed this validation and is also the validation of a Made in India vaccine. So, I am very happy and it's a very welcome move."
