India sees daily spike of over 58,000 Covid-19 cases

India recorded 58,097 fresh Covid-19 cases and 534 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare early Wednesday. With over 58,000 new Covid cases, the overall caseload in the country has mounted to 3,50,18,358, while the nationwide toll has been pushed to 4,82,551.

The top five states which have registered the maximum number of Covid-19 cases are Maharashtra with 18,466 cases, followed by West Bengal with 9,073 cases, Delhi with 5,481 cases, Kerala with 3,640 cases and Tamil Nadu with 2,731 cases. Watch this report to know more.
