India's Covid-19 tally crosses 85 lakh-mark

India on Monday reported 45,903 new coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 85,53,657 with 79,17,373 recoveries and 1,26,611 deaths, according to the Union Health Ministry.

Maharashtra is the worst-hit state with 17,19,858 cases so far with 15,77,322 recoveries and 45,240 fatalities.
