India needs to study the implications of Long Covid: Dr Ashish Jha

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dr Ashish K Jha, Dean, Brown University School of Public Health, said that India needs to study and understand the implications of Long Covid.

Dr Jha said, "India absolutely needs to study and understand the implications of Long Covid. The data suggests the effects are certainly on the lungs, but there are also problems with the heart and brain. We should be very careful. For many people, it could be quite debilitating. The neurologic and brain effects could be quite substantial. We need to monitor the people who are recovering from Covid very closely."
