India has elaborate system of Adverse Events Following Immunisation surveillance, says Dr NK Arora | EXCLUSIVE

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Dr NK Arora addressed the concerns people have about adverse effects following Covid-19 vaccination. Arora, a member of India's national committee on Adverse Effects Following Immunisation (AEFI), said the country has an elaborate system to monitor such reactions.

Dr Arora also promised that there will be more information about this in the public domain very soon. AEFI surveillance is essential, he said, to ensure community confidence in the vaccine and to reduce panic.
