Don't take Omicron lightly: WHO epidemiologist Dr Maria Van Kerkhove

In an exclusive interview with India Today, WHO's Covid-19 technical lead Dr Maria Van Kerkhove urged people not to take Omicron lightly.

Dr Maria Van Kerkhove said, "The Omicron is not a mild disease. It is more mild than Delta, but it's still resulting in a large number of hospitalizations."
