Delhi healthcare system swamped, Covid patients being taken to Punjab

With Delhi reeling under severe shortage of life-saving oxygen and ICU beds, Covid-19 patients are getting admitted to hospitals in Punjab for treatment. While the number of Covid-19 patients in Punjab is relatively lower than Delhi, a sporadic increase in positivity rate in the ongoing second wave has led to a rise in hospitalisation. Various hospitals have reported scarcity of oxygen as well.
