Covid crisis: Mansukh Mandaviya asks Kerala govt to take more proactive measures

As Kerala struggles with a surge in Covid cases, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya spoke to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the phone and discussed state's Covid situation.

Mandaviya asked the Kerala govt to take more proactive measures to contain Covid cases.

Kerala recorded more than 20,000 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday. The number of people who succumbed to Covid-19 rose to 17,103 with 148 deaths, while the test positivity rate (TPR) was 11.48 per cent.
