Covid-19: Maharashtra govt vs Centre over oxygen supply

A war of words broke out between Buddha Thackeray government in Maharashtra and Centre over the shortage of oxygen supply in the state amid surge in coronavirus cases. Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray released a statement on Saturday stating that the CM called Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inquiry about the supply of liquid medical oxygen.

Amid spiralling coronavirus cases in the country, the demand for medical oxygen in the country has gone through the roof.
