Pharmaceutical giant Zydus Cadila is likely to submit an application for emergency use authorisation of its Covid-19 vaccine candidate ZyCoV-D in India later this month. The company is confident that it will receive the nod for its 'painless' vaccine in May. Zydus Cadila is ready to produce 1 crore doses per month once it receives the required authorisation.
