India Today Conclave East 2021: Top business minds share roadmap for Bengal's growth

An image makeover is what West Bengal needs in order to boost its stalled growth, according to top business minds who took part in a session during the second day of the India Today Conclave East 2021. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman, Ambuja Neotia Group; Hemant Kanoria, Chairman, Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited; Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, Managing Director, Bandhan Bank and Rudra Chatterjee, Managing Director, Luxmi Tea, participated in the session titled, ‘BUSINESS BOARD: Act East: How to balance policy and pragmatism’. All of them were in agreement that all Bengal needs is a constructive policy push, infrastructure and better marketing for exclusive products and services. The panel also highlighted the key priorities for the government that will come into power after the assembly elections in the state later this year.
