Chandrayaan-3 sets off to land on moon in its second attempt

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the highly anticipated Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon on Friday. Lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota aboard the Launch Vehicle Mark-III, Chandrayaan-3 marks India's second attempt to land on the lunar surface and is the third mission in the Chandrayaan series.

Meanwhile, floods continue to inundate Delhi though the water-level in Yamuna receded a bit. Several main parts of the city were seen engulfed by water, as the authorities claimed to be trying their best to get the situation under control.
