Meenatai Thackeray's statue defaced in Mumbai's Shivaji Park area

Tension spread in the Shivaji Park, Dadar area of Mumbai after the statue of late Meenatai Thackeray was defaced by unknown individuals with oil paint. Following the incident, local Shiv Sena workers gathered at the location and cleaned the statue. Top leaders, including Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, have taken cognisance of the matter and have appealed to their party workers to maintain peace and prevent any law and order issues. Police have deployed additional forces in the area to maintain calm. Authorities have formed several teams to investigate the incident, are examining CCTV footage from the area, and are working to apprehend the culprits responsible for the act as soon as possible.
