Heavy rains have battered Hyderabad, leading to severe flooding across the city. Roads are inundated, with vehicles being washed away by strong currents. Three people are reported missing after being swept away in the floodwaters: one named Sunny from the Parsegutta area, and two individuals, Rama and Harun, from Nampally. Search operations for them are currently underway. In a separate incident in the Gachibowli area, a wall collapse attributed to the intense rainfall has reportedly caused two fatalities, although official confirmation is awaited. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has recorded significant rainfall, with some areas receiving up to 245 mm. An alert has been issued for the next 24 hours, which are considered critical as the situation in the city remains grim.
