Delhi floods leave iconic markets in shambles | Ground Report

With the Yamuna floods causing havoc in several parts of the national capital, the local businesses and markets in the city have suffered huge losses. The popular Monastery market in Delhi, which is a hub for clothes, is in shambles. Over 150 shops, along with the clothes and the furniture inside, have been destroyed. The stilt from the Yamuna floodwater has left the area in an inhabitable state. The shopkeepers are distressed because of the heavy losses and barely have any means to recover their businesses worth lakhs of rupees. India Today brings a ground report on the iconic market.
