Air quality in Delhi inches closer to 'very poor' category

On Monday, the air quality in the national capital inched closer to the 'very poor' category with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 298.

A day before, the city reported a 24-hour average air quality index (AQI) of 259, the lowest for the day before Diwali in seven years.
