A man, who was in the middle of an epileptic fit or heart attack, was looted by two bike-borne men in Delhi. The incident happened in Vikas Nagar in outer Delhi area in the early hours of Saturday, and CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced.

A man collapsed in Vikas Nagar under the Ranhola police station area of Outer Delhi early Saturday morning. CCTV footage captured two men on a scooter taking his mobile phone and searching his pockets while he lay unconscious. Police recovered the body and have started an investigation.

The video showed the man walking before circling around and collapsing on the footpath. He trembled vigorously, implying he either suffered from epilepsy or had a heart attack. Seconds later, two bike-borne men arrived, and the pillion rider quickly took the man's phone that laid on the footpath steps. The rider soon returned and searched the man's pockets in hopes of finding more items to steal. However, he noticed the surveillance camera installed on the lamp post and left instantly.

The man, meanwhile, continued to tremble. He reportedly remained on the spot for several hours and was found dead at around 8 am when locals spotted him. The police were informed soon after, who came and sent the body for post-mortem examination.

An investigation into the matter is underway. Officials said that they are examining the CCTV footage to identify and trace the two bike-borne men.

In another case of robbery or theft, an eldery woman in Rajasthan was attacked and brutally murdered. Thieves slit her throat and cut off her legs to steal silver ankle cuffs worth Rs 6.5 lakh. Additionally, they stole gold jewellery worth Rs 7.5 lakh from her body.
