All India Students' Federation stages protest against National Education Policy

The All India Students' Federation staged a protest in Chennai against the National Education Policy and the UGC draft regulations. They strongly oppose the three-language policy, fearing it will impose Hindi. The Tamil Nadu government is steadfast in not implementing the NEP, asserting that Hindi is not the national language. Tamils will continue to communicate in Tamil and English.
