Muslim devotees offer namaz at timeless Taj Mahal on Eid-ul-Azha

Dressed in their traditional best, hundreds of people from the Muslim community gathered at the timeless Taj Mahal in Agra on Monday to celebrate the festival of Eid-ul-Azha. Standing shoulder to shoulder devotees offered namaz, praying for peace and prosperity in the country. Eid-ul-Azha commemorates the Quranic tale of prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, as an act of obedience to God's command.
