Using the vehicle’s registration details, police tracked him down and arrested him within hours of the recovery.

He told police he called her to his office on January 23, where an argument escalated and he fatally stabbed her. He then dismembered the body, packed the remains into a sack and carried it on her scooter to a bridge, from where he threw it into the Yamuna.
