Stimulus package to spur growth and build a self-reliant India: Nirmala Sitharaman 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who was briefing the nation on the Rs 20 lakh crore package announced by PM Modi yesterday, said that PM Modi had laid out a comprehensive vision after consultations with several sections of the society and added that the package was to spur growth and build a self-reliant India.

Referring to the economic package, she said, "Essentially, this is to spur growth and to build a very self-reliant India. And, that's where it is called the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (Self-reliant India Mission)."
