Aroon Purie rings NSE bell, says it's for next chapter of India, India Today Group

India Today Group Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Aroon Purie on Friday rang the closing bell at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to mark the Group’s 50-year  journey and said it was for the next chapter of India and the India Today Group.

Speaking at the event, Aroon Purie said, "The bell we ring today is for the next chapter for India and for India Today. Institutions like NSC power the nation's economic growth. Journalism powers a nation's conscience."

He was joined by Kalli Purie, Vice Chairperson and Executive Editor-in-Chief, Group CEO Dinesh Bhatia, and NSE MD & CEO Ashish Kumar Chauhan during the ceremony held at NSE’s Mumbai headquarters.
