Highlights of Interim Budget 2019

Interim Finance Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday presented the Interim Budget 2019 in Parliament and announced a slew of benefits for the middle class. From tax rebate for individuals with annual incomes of up to Rs 5 lakh to a raise in the standard deduction to a rebate on home rent up to 2.4 lakh, the Interim Budget was laced with pro-middle class sops given the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
