Railways and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal has said the Railways is installing devices and the situation should improve by next year.
Speaking at the session 'Yatrigan Kripya Dhyan De, Chunav Aane Wala Hai' of 'Agenda Aaj Tak', Piyush Goyal said his priority was to make Railways' security foolproof.
India is developing an indigenous signalling system. The dependence on signals will be gone. If there is a train in the front, the train behind will stop automatically without the driver stopping it. Till then, fog pass devices are being installed. This device keeps telling the driver how far the signal is, he added.
